I love to sew and create a one of a kind Handmade items. I am constantly thinking of new ways to use fabrics, loving the out come of my Tote Bags, Handbags. I am blessed with a daughter, daughter in law, many sisters and nieces. They have all been on the receiving end of my creative projects. For years, each one of them has asked me to open an Etsy shop. I have finally listened to them and launched this shop.

Each of the Tote Bags, Handbags, Clutches and Pillows in my shop are designed and sewn by me. I love fabrics, the touch, the textures, the colors and the patterns. I also love buttons as you will see when you browse my shop.

Custom work is very welcome. I love working with the client, getting to know them through their vision. You and I will have conversations that will lead to a creation that is just for you or that you are giving as a gift. I recently had the honor of taking a husbands military uniform (retiring), combining it with other fabrics to create a Tote Handbag, that his wife will enjoy for years to come. I start my creations by choosing fabrics, each for color and texture. Once I have done that, I start laying them out together. They must play well off of each other or I go back and re- select. Not going to lie, once I start laying things out, sometimes I change my mind. Maybe I have to re-cut the petals from another section of the fabric or I don't like the strap as much I would like to. If I don't like it, I won't sew it.

The button selection is another longer process. Each button is chosen for its color, size and texture. They have to fit together, not only in size but also be interesting together and with the fabrics. They are all hand sewn into place, a bit time consuming - but worth it. The majority of the buttons are from Vintage markets, I love the uniqueness of these buttons.

Where did my love of fabrics come from? I have an interior design background. Color is part of that and fabrics and textures play huge roles in our everyday life. In my interior Design world, I learned a long time ago, the benefits of using only quality fabrics in all applications.

My love of Color - I am a huge gardener, love the colors in nature in all seasons. Amazing how the backgrounds in your life can change by the season and just what you will see and how it makes you feel. Backgrounds, colors, textures all layering together and playing off of each other .... hmm, a Tote Bag is born.
